Network Engineer - St. Louis, MO

The Network Engineer will be responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly activities required to keep our client's systems running at peak performance. The Network Engineer will perform a variety of technical tasks. The ideal candidate must possesses a strong understanding of core Microsoft technologies including Windows Server and Active Directory as well as core networking concepts and troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' experience providing Network and Server Support
    • Microsoft Exchange: Design, Implementation, Configuration, Migrations and On-Going Support (Exchange 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013, Office 365) Exchange ActiveSync Configuration and Support, Ability to quickly and reliable troubleshoot mail flow Issues; Understand and be able design implement and support SPAM Filtering solutions for Exchange;
    • Microsoft Active Directory: Design, Implementation, and On-Going Support. Be able to Configure Active Directory according to Microsoft Best Practices for Domain Controller Placement, Active Directory Site Configuration.
    • Microsoft Windows Servers: Installation, Configuration, and Day to Day Management (Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2008r2, and Server 2012)
    • Server Virtualization: Design, Implementation, and On-Going Support of VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V Server virtualization
    • Networking: Router Configuration and Support; VLAN Design, Implementation and Configuration; Layer 3 Switching;
    • DNS: Firm understanding of how public DNS affects mission critical resources such as email, and websites. Ability to create and modify DNS Records.
    • Project Management: Must be able to plan and execute complex information technology projects
    • VOIP: Experience supporting Voice over IP systems. Qualified Candidate must be familiar with industry best practices for implementing and deploying VOIP Systems on the network.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize work to meet adapting deadlines

Position Summary

The ideal candidate will be a motivated, high-energy, success thriving individual responsible for new account development. Some experience in Voice-over IP or IT services is a plus, but not required. Excellent customer service skills are required.


Primary Responsibilities

In this position the right candidate will...

  • Sell IT managed services, as well as both premise-based and cloud-based telephone equipment and services.
  • Effectively utilize sales strategies to ensure the company meets revenue and profit objectives through target prospecting of small to mid-size accounts.
  • Be responsible for developing a new customer base
  • Work with a defined sales quota focusing on initiating relationships with multi-level decision-makers (IT decision makers, business owners, C-level management, etc.) through phone, marketing mailer campaigns, in-person contacts, and presentations.
  • Have a typical work week consisting of office and field days including face-to-face contact with your prospective new accounts.

Help Desk Analyst - St. Louis, MO

This position will support end users relating to Information Technology infrastructure components. The Help Desk Analyst is responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly activities required to keep our client's systems running at peak performance. The Help Desk Analyst's will perform a variety of technical tasks including:

Responsibilities:

  • Respond, research, and resolve end user inquiries via phone and email.
  • Accurately troubleshoot and decipher problems by asking probing questions and utilizing available resources.
  • Log all trouble calls and requests in Ticket Queue and escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate team member as needed.
  • Document detailed descriptions of problems and resolutions in Ticket Queue.
  • Assist users with issues regarding PC hardware and software, office phones, printers, copy machines, fax machines and various other network devices.
  • Image and deploy laptop and desktops
  • Create, manage, and terminate (setup, access changes, password resets, etc.) end user accounts from authorized requests
  • Monitor and manage Ticket Queue which includes following up on all outstanding calls and open tickets to ensure timely resolution and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor servers, backups, email, web filters and spam filters and engage 3rd party service providers regarding outages as needed.
  • Handle additional customer support related duties, as needed
  • Additional duties as assigned

This position will be responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of telephone systems. They will provide support to end users relating to their telecommunications infrastructure components. The Telecommunication Engineer will perform a variety of technical tasks including:
